E-Learning is Wednesday, November 1st.


We can't wait to see our Tigers at the Monster Bash on Saturday, October 28th from 5:00-8:00PM at Beulah Park! There will be trunk or treating, games, costume contest, and a spooky bonfire!

After consultation with the Alexandria Police Department, the soft lockdown has been lifted for today, Tuesday, Oct. 24. #AlexTigers

For today, Tuesday, Oct. 24, all schools are operating on a soft lockdown as police search for a suspect that fled very early this morning. All students will remain indoors today. This is strictly a precautionary measure.

Family Fire Escape Plan for Kindergartner through 3rd Grade Students! The firefighters have given us a challenge! We are to create our own family fire escape plan. The best family fire escape plans from each grade level, K-3, will be selected and get to ride to school on a fire truck on Friday, October 20. Plans are due on Wednesday.


Our students in grades 2 through 6 will be able to participate in our Colts Big Blue Camp on Thursday, October 19th. Please be sure that your child has turned in their permission slip to their teacher. Students will not be able to participate without a signed permission slip. Be sure to wear your Colts gear on Thursday! If you would like to volunteer, please be sure to call the school.

Thank you so much to Mike and Connie Owens for their thoughtfulness and care of our Alexandria Monroe Elementary School Staff! We appreciate your kindness! It was a wonderful way to end our first nine weeks of school.
